The newest track on Joe Kenney's upcoming solo piano collection and fifth overall studio album, released 7/2. The neo-classical/ambient style piece is the fifth track in a series of twelve musical meditations on points of personal growth. FORTH Nominated for four Hometown Heroes Awards

The latest collaborative album by Joe Kenney continues to make a flourish. The 10-track multi-genre effort -- highlighted by features of six Philadelphia-area vocalists -- has been voted by the fans as a finalist in four categories in the 2020 Homey Awards. Hometown Heroes is a staple in the Delaware Valley Music Community spearheaded by Mark Rogers and Delaware Public Media.

JOE KENNEY BAND: MJ Medley surpasses 25K streams on Spotify

 

In Mid-May, Joe Kenney Band released MJ Medley, a bonus recording from the Forth album sessions. The piano-led jazz fusion arrangement is a staple at JKB shows and is part of a busy season of releases for Kenney, which has included the aforementioned collab album and the new collection of solo piano reflections. MJ Medley has great momentum on Apple Music and Spotify, with growing weekly stream numbers on both platforms and over 25k total streams on the latter.
