STUDENTSpotlight
Our students are exceptional. In order to highlight the phenomenal work and progress of the students, we want to share it with you.
SubhangiMohapatra
Subhangi joined the studio only over the summer; she is doing a fantastic job and making great progress! While this video features "Ice Skaters" from the Faber series, Subhangi's favorite piece to play on the piano is "Sunburst Waltz" (also from the same arrangers)!
After having entered the Piano Studio at Joe Kenney Enterprises during the summer, Subhangi has now entered 9th grade; and, although summer was great, Subhangi is excited to be studying math again.
When she is not in school or playing the piano, Subhangi indulges in listening to music. Says the budding pianist, "I am a fan of artists such as One Direction, 5 Seconds of Summer, Fifth Harmony, and Little Mix. Occasionally, I listen to Rihanna, Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Ariana Grande, Drake, Halsey, and Selena Gomez. "
Additionally, Subhangi enjoys doing cross country/track and field. When asked about the gameplan with the sport, Mohapatra responded, "I started cross country and track in 7th grade and plan to continue it my whole high school career."
With everything on her plate, Subhangi only had two words when we inquired about her favorite food: "Chicken parm".
Congratulations on being selected as the Student Spotlight, Subhangi!
